Welcome to my portfolio. Here you’ll find a selection of my work. Explore my projects to learn more about what I do.

I worked at the Life & Arts department of the Texan for a year and a half, writing around 50 articles. Most of these pieces centered around minority voices, from Hispanic communities to LGBTQ+ coverage. Because of my passion of encouraging reading, I began the book section, working on book reviews and recommendations. I worked as an Associate Editor for my last semester there.

Texas Monthly

Interning at Texas Monthly during the 2022 fall semester, I helped fact-check assignments and transcribe interviews, while also getting the privilege to learn from seasoned long-form journalists. I wrote two online pieces during my time there.

Sneak Peek

As a member of UT's Texas Student Television program, I was involved in the show, Sneak Peek, where we covered the latest in entertainment news. I had the privilege to work on film festival red carpets, both interviewing talent and crew, as well as editing the video interviews. Shown are a few clips I put together.
